Bespoke sofas

At New England Home Interiors, we have a large collection of handmade sofas and armchairs built with hardwood frames that are guaranteed for life. These range from 2, 3 and 4 seaters to larger u-shaped models and corner sofas with a choice of left or right handed designs to fit your space. Meanwhile, all other sofas (excluding Surrey & Sussex) are available in bespoke widths and depths. This enables you to order lounge furniture that slots neatly into your space.

On top of that, you can also alter the seat and back heights of certain sofa models. A shorter seat pad is ideal for those of smaller stature and encourages a more upright seating position. Meanwhile, deeper seats are best for taller people and those who like to stretch out on the settee. You can also customise the fill of your bespoke sofa to suit your preferred level of comfort. Choose high density foam for a firmer seat that will hold its shape and keep your cushions wrinkle-free for longer. Or create a softer seat by blending foam with down filling.

Lastly, our myriad of sofa fabric options is what really sets our bespoke furniture service apart. Alongside various standard fabrics, we have access to a library of thousands more, including Fibreguard and Aquaclean materials. Designed to repel dirt and liquid spills, these washable and stain resistant upholstery fabrics are ideal for family homes. Customisable armchairs

Want your armchairs to match your sofa? No problem. From patterned to plain designs, smooth leathers to textured chenille, we can supply the perfect armchair. We offer the same bespoke options on many of our fixed back armchairs, including custom sizes, fillings and fabrics. This applies to compact occasional chairs through, statement pieces and everything in between.

The exception to the rule is our swivel and recliner armchairs. Due to their mechanisms, these designs are limited to the manufacturer’s leather and fabric ranges. With that said, there are many more styles available than listed on our website, so feel free to contact us for details.

Made to order footstools & ottomans

Similarly, our team can design coordinating footstools and ottomans upon request. These are ideal if you need extra seating when family visits or you’re short on living room storage. Better still, they can be produced in virtually any size and shape, and finished in the same material as your other furniture. Alternatively, you could opt for contrasting fabric to create a focal point. Either way, we’d highly recommend upgrading to a new technology fabric that can be wiped clean. We can also replicate any piped trims and stud details to subtly tie each piece together.

Custom dining tables

Moving into our dining furniture category, you can expect to find many different ceramic, solid wood, Neolith and Dekton tables. Our bestselling Dekton dining tables are topped with robust sintered stone that is heat, scratch and stain resistant. While Neolith models are made using recycled materials – perfect for eco-conscious buyers.

Whichever you choose, our Dekton and Neolith topped bespoke dining tables can be built to your preferred length and width, ready to seat anywhere from 2-12 diners. You’ll also have the option of a fixed or extendable table, with either a slide-out mechanism or folding butterfly leaves. Additionally, there are an astonishing 60 surface finishes and 23 leg colours available, including matte and high-sheen natural stone effect designs. And we can create shaped tabletops, for example with curved edges and rounded corners, if so desired.

Personalised dining chairs

Want to replace your tired old dining chairs while you’re at it? At New England Home Interiors, we are constantly updating our dining room chair collection with stylish, comfortable designs. And while these don’t come in bespoke sizes, we can customise each chair’s upholstery and legs to match your interiors.

Much like with our bespoke sofas, this includes altering the colour and feel of the fabric – and upgrading to spill-proof coated fabrics if you’d like. Additionally, we can offer bespoke dining chairs with contrasting stitching for added interest and a hint of colour. Plus a contemporary dual upholstery option, where the front and back of your chair are finished in different shades.

Focusing on the legs of your chair or bar stool, you’ll have many RAL paint colours and wood stains to browse. As well as the opportunity to add gliders to the base to protect your flooring from being scratched. Finally, if that wasn’t enough, we can add or remove armrests from certain designs to better fit your chosen aesthetic. Just ask and we’ll see what we can do!

Bespoke furniture for living rooms

Alongside sofas and armchairs, did you know that we supply lounge tables, media units and sideboards too? The perfect accompaniment to your primary furniture, these customisable storage solutions and display pieces are available in various styles. Namely marble and mottled stone-effect coffee and side tables, with a matte or polished finish. With that said, there are countless design options and colours to choose from. And if you require a non-standard size, our Dekton and Neolith living room tables can be made in bespoke sizes.

Additionally, we offer an array of sleek sideboards and media units to add the finishing touch to your lounge. These vary in size and style, with custom options available for the majority of sideboards (excluding Woodfield) and both the Porto and Rome media units. Better still, you can alter the configuration of the cupboards, drawers and any open shelving features. This way, if you want to store larger items out of sight, you can prioritise cupboard space. Or, in terms of media units, you can create a design with a cut-out for cables at the end nearest the socket.

Both furniture types can be finished in your preferred shade or pattern, with optional colour combos and even Dekton finishes. For instance, the body and doors of your unit might be different shades. Or you could add an accent colour to inner storage cubbies while maintaining a neutral outer. It’s completely up to you! Other styles of matching media units and sideboards can also be sourced.

Custom-made window treatments

Last but not least, alongside our bespoke furniture services, we can order in made to measure curtains and blinds in harmonising fabrics. This includes pencil pleat and eyelet drapes, in a host of fabrics and weights, from sheer voile to blackout shades. Plus Venetian and Roman blinds, pelmets and valances, made using your choice of velvets, cottons and more by designers like Wemyss and Romo. And if you need poles or tracks we can supply those too – even custom-bent tracks for bay windows that often prove difficult to get hold off.
